Simulated Hunting

In the rolling hilly terrain at Ulkeröds Gård in northern Bohuslän, thousands of clay pigeons will be sent whizzing across the shooting line, you won't get any closer to a real hunt! Simulated hunting is the absolute best way to train for upcoming bird hunts. Our goal is to create a day as realistic as possible, from pheasants and partridges to stretching ducks, all to make it feel like a real bird hunt.

Over the years we have put a lot of time and care into creating authentic places in nature. Everything from buried grouse butts where the pigeons quickly fly overhead and float on the lake where we of course take a boat to deep valleys to get the really tall pheasants.

All drives are adapted for 12 shooters, 6 pegs that we divide in two and two.

Full day:

We gather at Ulkeröds Gård where we start the day with a breakfast roll and coffee or tea. After that, we go through the day carefully with a focus on safety, everything to make everyone feel comfortable and safe. If you are not used to bird hunting situations, we are at your side to help you a little extra.

After a short transport by tractor and wagon, we shoot the first two drives of the day. In all drives, we make sure that the shooters change places with each other several times, so that everyone feels included and gets to shoot approximately the same amount. Elevenses are served and then we shoot the remaining two drives.

Afterwards we return to Ulkeröds Gård and have a well-deserved lunch at the Ekbacken restaurant.

Half day:

We gather at the Restaurant where we start with lunch. After that, we go through the day carefully with a focus on safety, everything to make everyone feel comfortable and safe. If you are not used to bird hunting situations, we are at your side to help you a little extra.

After a short transport by tractor and wagon, we shoot the day's two drives and then gather again at the Farm to finish off.
