Simulated Game Shooting
Join us for this year’s first “bird hunt”, a simulated battue with clay pigeons. On the undulating hilly terrain of Ulkeröds Gård, thousands of clay pigeons are sent whizzing across the shooting line – this is as close to real hunting as it gets! It’s all here – the community, the joy, the excitement when the battue fires off and the adrenaline that kicks in once you hear the bangs and smell the gunpowder. The only difference is that we only hunt clay pigeons. Everything else is just like a normal bird hunt. We gather for breakfast and go through the set-up for the day, then we are taken into the field and shoot in four different battues. Thousands of clay pigeons are sent whizzing across the shooting line. The rifle barrels are hot and laughter can be clearly heard among the tees. Then we break for “elevenses” in nature between battues two and three. You can hardly find better training before this year’s bird hunts. The day ends with a well-deserved lunch at Ulkeröds Gård’s restaurant Ekbacken. Just like a real bird hunt, only with clay pigeons. Suitable number: Twelve people (six minimum). Time required: Four hours is a suitable amount of time. When: All year round according to the track’s opening hours, Monday-Sunday; closed in winter when there is too much snow. Price: SEK 4,495 per person, including VAT, for a minimum of ten people. If this has piqued your curiosity, send us an enquiry expressing interest and we will get back to you with more information
