The chefs Restaurant Ekbacken
Chef Jonas Blomstervall, Nina Hansson and Erik Lundin are our chefs. It is a tight-knit group that is all passionate about the same motto – it should be a food experience with the raw material in focus. If we aim for all the ingredients to surprise, we think the menus will solve themselves to a large extent.
"I myself come from a family of restaurateurs where we have always been careful to take care of everything. Nothing was thrown away here that you could cook stock on. When Jonas cooks, he regards all guests as discerning connoisseurs, regardless of whether there are French small dishes or Swedish home cooking on the menu. "It must be well prepared," says Jonas. For many years he has run restaurants in Gothenburg together with Leif Mannerström, most recently the acclaimed restaurant Kometen and before that Sjömagasinet.
Our heart is here in northern Bohuslän and we're going to conquer the world from here, said Jonas, and yes we think it's possible. Come by and try our kitchen!
