At Ulkeröds Gård, hunting is a natural part of life and the landscape.
Here we offer hunting experiences with high ethics, a strong focus on safety and a genuine respect for both game and nature. All hunts are led by our professional hunter Oskar Johansson, together with experienced retrievers and search crews.
This is hunting as it should be – thoughtful, responsible and memorable.
Training hunts
For those who want to develop as a hunter
Our educational hunts are designed to give both new and more inexperienced hunters a safe and educational introduction to hunting.
Here you get:
- Pedagogical briefings before each session
- Active participation throughout the day
- Knowledge of both hunting and handling of game
It is a social and inclusive form of hunting where everyone feels involved – regardless of previous experience.
We offer training hunts in:
- Duck shooting
- Small game hunting
- Hunting of cloven-hoofed animals
Simulated hunting
As close to real hunting as you can get
In the rolling terrain at Ulkeröds Gård, an experience is created that is as close to real bird hunting as possible.
Thousands of clay pigeons are sent across the shooting line – in formations and angles that mimic pheasants, partridges and stretching ducks.
This isn't just training – it's an experience in itself.
A day to remember
The day begins on the farm with breakfast and a review of safety and procedures.
Then we head out into the fields, often by tractor and cart, to carefully selected locations where each drive is designed to create variety and challenge.
- Buried grouse butts
- Shooting over the lake with boat transport
- Valleys for high pheasant-like shots
All participants rotate between pegs to ensure an even and inclusive experience.
After shooting, you return to the farm for a well-deserved lunch at Restaurant Ekbacken.
For friends, hunting teams and conferences
Simulated hunting is just as suitable for a group of friends as for a hunting team – or as a unique activity in connection with a conference.
Here, challenge, focus and community come together in an experience that few will forget.
