Personal and dog-friendly hotel at Ulkeröds Gård
Hotell Ängslyckan is our smaller and more personal hotel. It was completed in 2014 and has a warm, rural feel with nature right outside the door.
Here you will stay in peace and comfort, close to Restaurant Ekbacken and the rest of the farm. Ängslyckan is just as suitable for those travelling alone as for couples and friends – and is also our dog-friendly hotel.
A hotel for those who appreciate the personal, the small-scale and the opportunity to really get down to business.
10 individually decorated rooms
Hotell Ängslyckan has 10 individually and carefully decorated rooms , all with their own toilet and shower.
The rooms have a warm and cozy character and offer a peaceful place to land after the day's experiences or the evening's dinner.
There are two room categories:
Single room
Ängslyckan has 4 Single Rooms . These are our smaller rooms and a good option for those traveling alone and wanting to stay comfortably in a quiet environment.
The rooms can also be booked for two people and are then offered as double rooms.
Standard Double Room
Ängslyckan has 6 Standard Double Rooms.
Two people can live here comfortably with the personal and rural feel that characterizes the entire hotel.
A good choice for an overnight stay, a weekend or a few relaxing days at Ulkeröds Gård.
Bring your dog to Ängslyckan
Hotell Ängslyckan is our dog-friendly hotel. There are forests, gravel roads and nature right outside the door – perfect for those who want to bring their dog along on their stay.
When you book a dog-friendly room, we prepare a dog bed, food and water bowls, dog treats, and poop bags.
Dog-friendly rooms need to be pre-booked in connection with the accommodation.
Dogs are also welcome in Restaurant Ekbacken, provided they are calm and under control.

Pleasant common areas
One of Ängslyckan's special qualities is the shared social areas.
Here you can sit down with a cup of coffee, read, socialize or just relax for a while. The hotel also has our library with TV.
This makes Ängslyckan especially nice for friends and smaller groups who are traveling together and want a natural place to gather outside of the hotel rooms.
Calmness takes its place
We have deliberately chosen not to have TVs in the hotel rooms . At Ulkeröds Gård we want to provide space for conversation, food, nature, a book or simply a moment of peace.
If you want to watch TV, it is available in Ängslyckan's library.
Of course, there is fast wifi via fiber at the hotel.

Of course, you are just as welcome to stay with us when you are traveling on your own. Our double rooms can be booked for one person for a single room supplement of 400 SEK per night.
You get the same comfortable room and the same experience – with the entire room to yourself.
