The Manhuset is for those of you who want your own holiday home and time to really relax.
Here, family or friends live together on approximately 120 m² , with four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and generous living areas. Outside, the veranda, your own barbecue area and life at Ulkeröds Gård await.
The Manhuset is particularly suitable for a longer stay. That is why we primarily offer the house as a weekly accommodation Sunday–Sunday or a long weekend Wednesday–Sunday.
A house with history
The Manhuset is Ulkeröds Gård's old manor house dating back to the late 1800th century. The family moved in as early as 1893 and the feeling of a real home still remains.
That's part of the charm of living here. The Manhuset is not a hotel room – it's your own house on the farm where you can unpack, make yourself at home and let the days take their own pace.
Plenty of space to live together
The man's house is approximately 120 m² and has four bedrooms – one double room and three single rooms – with a total of five regular beds.
The house's natural gathering place is the large dining and living room with dining area, sofa, TV and large fireplace.
Here there is space to eat together, sit down in front of the fire or just hang out after the day's activities and excursions.
The house also has a toilet with shower and Wi-Fi via fiber.
Fully equipped kitchen and private barbecue area
In Manhuset you have the option of full self-catering and can decide for yourself how you want to prepare your meals during your stay.
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Stove and oven
- Microwave oven
- Large fridge
- Coffee maker
- Kettle
- Kitchen equipment for cooking and serving
Outside the house there is a veranda and private barbecue area . Here you can have breakfast outside on a beautiful summer morning and finish dinner at the barbecue in the evening.
When you don't want to cook your own food, there is Restaurant Ekbacken on the farm.

Stay a little longer
The Manhuset is intended as a holiday home rather than for a single overnight stay.
Unpack your bags, fill the fridge and make the house your own. From here you can discover Ulkeröds Gård, take excursions in both Bohuslän and Dalsland or just let a day pass without any major plans.
Therefore, we primarily offer two stays:
Week – Sunday to Sunday
Seven nights for those of you who want Ulkeröds Gård as a holiday home and really have time to land, discover the surroundings and enjoy the days together.
Long weekend – Wednesday to Sunday
Four nights for those of you who want to get away for a few consecutive days and still have time to unpack, relax and get more out of your stay.
The dog is allowed to come with you.
The manor house is dog-friendly , so even your dog can come along.
When you book with a dog, we prepare a dog bed, food and water bowl, dog treats and poop bags.
Dogs are also welcome in Restaurant Ekbacken, provided they are calm and under control.
