Our ambition with restaurant Ekbacken is to offer food that is more than good. Our chef Jonas Blomstervall sets the restaurant’s 4 menu every week, it changes according to the seasons and the availability of locally produced ingredients.
We produce most of our raw materials ourselves, but we also work with adjacent neighboring farms so that everything is locally produced.
It gives us access to the very best ingredients according to the season and allows us to maximize the taste and experience in our food.

Ulkeröds Gård is situated far out on the countryside with a beautiful nature as it’s closest neighbour. Just a few steps outside the restaurant or hotel you get embraced by forest, open fields, animals and beautiful lakes.
Right outside the building our sheets and cows are grazing in the pastures, and just a short walk from there you can also find pigs and deer.
There’s a lot of paths to walk and places to sit down around the area. Get outside, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view – you won’t get disappointed!
