Our ambition with restaurant Ekbacken is to offer food that is more than good. Our head chef Jonas Blomstervall sets the restaurant's tasting menu every week – a gastronomic experience in six servings. The menu changes according to the seasons and the availability of locally produced ingredients. Are you hungry to eat in the middle of the day? Then don't miss booking our farm lunch!
We produce a large part of our raw materials ourselves and also collaborate with local producers and suppliers so that the food is as locally produced as possible.
It gives us access to the very best raw materials according to season and allows us to maximize the taste experience in the food served at restaurant Ekbacken.

Get in the Christmas spirit with us! Let us take care of you and your loved ones while you enjoy the peaceful environment and delicious food.
Chef Jonas Blomstervall has composed a menu with the best of the classic Christmas dishes in a modern twist and with a focus on local ingredients.
The result? A Christmas-inspired sharing menu in 8 servings, directly at your table!
The Christmas-inspired menu of 8 servings can be booked Thursday-Saturday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Enjoy good food and comfortable accommodation with us during the Christmas season!
With our Christmas buffet package, you arrive in the afternoon and check into your hotel room. The evening then begins with mulled wine and mingling in the pavilion, followed by a delicious Christmas-inspired menu with the best flavors of Christmas served directly at your table.
After a good night's sleep, you wake up to a freshly prepared breakfast, ready to take on a new day!

Christmas-inspired Sunday lunch
Are you short on space in your calendar to go out for an evening at a Christmas table? Then book our Christmas-inspired Sunday lunch instead! This is a slightly shorter sitting with 4 well-selected servings, where you can sit down together and enjoy in peace and quiet in the middle of the day.
On Sundays we also offer a lute fish lunch with the classic accompaniments – bechamel sauce, peas, potatoes, allspice, butter and crispy pork. Just as it should be!
The menus can be booked on Sundays from 12:00 during the period November 23 - December 21.
