In northern Bohuslän, surrounded by forest, meadows and open landscapes, lies Ulkeröds Gård – a living farm where nature, food and people are intertwined. Here you will not just get a visit, but an experience that you will feel.
At Restaurant Ekbacken, the raw materials lead the way. Our chef Jonas Blomstervall continuously creates a tasting menu where the season, the farm and the local producers set the tone. What is served is close, authentic and constantly changing – a reflection of the place you are in. For those of you who visit us during the day, we offer our farm lunch, a well-prepared break in the quiet.
On the farm, the animals, the land and the production are a natural part of the whole. A large part of the raw materials come from our own operations, the rest from carefully selected producers in the local area. This gives us honest cooking with a deep connection to both craftsmanship and landscape.
If you want to stay longer, our farm hotel awaits – a place for rest, closeness to nature and time to just be. Wake up to the peace, take a walk through the grounds and let the experience continue at its own pace.

Sunday, May 31st is Mother's Day - treat mom to a visit with us at Ulkeröds Gård!
To celebrate the day, we're treating ourselves to a little extra luxury with a 3-course Farm Lunch.
A starter, main course and dessert are served.
Bring your loved ones and enjoy good food in a cozy environment at restaurant Ekbacken.

Let the summer slow down and give you time to just be together.
When you arrive at Ulkeröds Gård, tranquility, nature and a rural feel await you. After checking in at our Farm Hotel, you will enjoy a summer evening in our atmospheric Pavilion, where the evening's sharing grill menu is prepared over open embers by our chefs and served in several tasty servings.
With the evening sun, the scent of the fire and nature right next to you, you look out over the pastures where the sheep and our Highland Cattle quietly graze.
After a good night's sleep, a farm breakfast awaits at Restaurant Ekbacken - and perhaps a walk in the rural environment, a swim in Lake Lersjön or even more taste experiences on the farm.

Sharing grill menu
When the summer evenings are at their best, we move the kitchen out to the Pavilion.
From Wednesday, July 1st through Saturday, August 8th, we invite you to our popular sharing grill menu – a tasty experience where fire, ingredients and community are at the center.
The smell of grilling, the sound of the embers and dishes to share together create a relaxed and enjoyable evening in a farm setting. The menu varies according to season and availability – always with carefully selected ingredients from the farm and local producers.
Served Wednesday to Saturday evening.
Our farm lunch is served as usual inside the restaurant during the day.

🥰It's almost time for this year's LAMB RELEASE!😍
On Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 we will open the gates to the sheep house and the lambs will happily jump out into the pastures and welcome spring🌱🐑☀️ The farm shop is open from 10:00 to 18:00. There are lots of new products for both the garden and the pantry, and of course ice cream for all the children🍦🤩 A warm welcome!🐑
